My diagnosis is Melanocytic nevus. I can see eosinophilic
intracytoplasmic inclusion (Gottlieb body) in balloon cell. |

cells) are sometimes found in ordinary nevi. These may be mononuclear
or multinucleated. When such cells constitute a significant part
of the nevus (arbitrarily 50%), the nevus is designated a balloon

What is the biological difference between foamy and
ballooned nevus cells? If it is merely the difference in size of
cytoplasmic vacuoles, such a distinction might have little meaning. |

| |
You will see Balloon cells in Melanocytic nevi and
Malignant melanoma. You won't see foam cell with pink globules in
Malignant melanoma.
This observation is so far personal experience but usefull in practice
as a clue in differntial diagnosis. |
